theQ Camera is the world’s first social camera to market. Launched in 2013, it allows you to share photos directly from the camera to your social networks. Fast, easy and fun with a youthful exuberance and attitude that defies limits we needed to create something that would get the attention of the young, hipster-audience theQ was aiming for. Working with a small team, I approached this project as if we were designing a world, building a vibrant and colorful space where everyone could see themselves. We utilized the nine different colors of the camera, pulling these into every aspect of the branding and identity. This was an ongoing project lasting 1.5 years, I helped to create the entire brand identity, including art direction, digital design, print design, and cloud-service UX design.
